LemonEdge featured in The Commonwealth at 75, a commemorative publication produced by The History of Parliament and St James’s House, as a standout organisation shaping the Commonwealth.

13 November 2024 – LemonEdge, the leading fund accounting solution for private markets funds, has been featured in The Commonwealth at 75, the History of Parliament Trust’s official commemorative album marking the 75th anniversary of the Commonwealth.

The inclusion of LemonEdge in this prestigious publication marks another significant moment in the company's short history. LemonEdge co-founders, Gareth Hewitt and Jamie Nascimento were interviewed by Katie Nicholl, an internationally recognized journalist who has been writing about the British royal family for nearly two decades, sharing the journey and growth LemonEdge has seen since founding in 2020.

The album offers an insight into the most innovative and standout Commonwealth institutions and organisations, exploring the contributions that they have made in shaping the Commonwealth of today.

The recognition of LemonEdge within this innovative group highlights the immense progress the team has made innovating and powering the finance industry behind the scenes throughout the Commonwealth. With LemonEdge, investment firms have eliminated multiple-entry bookkeeping, enabled real-time data transfers between their systems, and created more transparency with their investors, optimizing financial operations and reporting.

The book was launched on October 9th 2024 at an invitation-only event with more than 700 attendees, with Gareth and Jamie in attendance, co-hosted by the History of Parliament Trust and St James’s House within Westminster Abbey, a building steeped in centuries of history.

Gareth Hewitt, Chief Executive Officer, LemonEdge, said: “We are extremely grateful for being recognised alongside such a high-quality group of influential organisations within the Commonwealth. I would like to thank our excellent team for continuously pushing boundaries and building the modern infrastructure that powers the global finance industry.”

Unparalleled in the comprehensiveness of its treatment, the History is generally regarded as one of the most ambitious, authoritative and well-researched projects in British history.

Since 1995, the History has been funded principally by the two Houses of Parliament. The project is governed by its Trustees, who are mainly Members and Officers of both Houses of Parliament.
